Begin by switching the power supply and turning on the control panel switch. Start the oil pump to hear its rotating sound, ensuring the machine is powered on but stationary initially.
Adjust the stroke carefully, ensuring a clearance equivalent to the plate thickness when the upper die descends to prevent mold damage. Typically, notch selection for bending involves choosing a width approximately 8 times the thickness of the sheet metal (e.g., for 4mm sheet metal, about 32 notches are suitable).
Rear stopper adjustment methods include electric quick adjustment and manual fine-tuning, similar to a shearing machine. This adjustment ensures precise positioning before bending operations commence.
Engage the bending process by stepping on the foot switch. Unlike a shearing machine, the laser fiber cutting machine allows for loosening and stopping at any time by releasing the foot from the switch. Simply stepping down again resumes the bending process.
This approach ensures the safe and effective use of the laser fiber cutting machine for metalworking applications.
