Eye protection
Laser cutting machines can cause damage to the eye's retina or cornea when they work.In the layout of the cutting scene, the following measures can be taken to reduce the reflection or radiation of ultraviolet light:
1. Darken the wall paint on the work site to reduce radiation;
2. Install protective screens or curtains to reduce UV radiation;
3. Wear dark eyes or goggles with protective layer, or welding cap, to protect eyes from the strong light of flame, ultraviolet and infrared radiation of plasma arc;
4. Other personnel in the working area should not look directly at the arc light or flame during cutting.
Protection of the skin
Laser cutting has certain damage to skin tissue, which can repair itself.It should be noted that long time under the laser irradiation, will cause skin burns or scars.Therefore, in the laser cutting work, the protection of the skin must also cause great attention.
To be reliable, it is recommended that laser operators wear long-sleeved clothing to prevent direct laser on the skin and skin burns, and to prevent slag splashing on the skin and scalding.Do not touch the cut parts immediately. Wear gloves to avoid burns.
